What AVA measures

AVA (AI Visibility Auditor) measures whether an organisation is findable in AI answers, and whether AI crawlers can read its site at all. The work starts from two questions: can an AI system read your site at all — checking robots.txt agent by agent, since blocking a training crawler is not the same as blocking a retrieval agent or a search index — and what do AI systems actually say about you, sampled through their documented APIs and checked against what your own site publishes.

What it does not do, because the product’s argument depends on it: it does not promise a result. Nobody controls what a model says, so the result is measured rather than asserted. See Questions for the fuller account, including what it deliberately does not claim.
